Kristian Mueller is an author, aerospace engineer, and project management professional with over 20 years of experience in the aerospace sector. He has worked on both manned and unmanned space technology and has startup company experience in the blue and green economies. He is an Employee Retention management specialist with over 20+ years of project and program management experience in Europe and the US working on NASA, DOD and DOE engineering Projects.

He started out his career at NASA as a test director for Lockheed Martin for the ISS robotic arm Astronaut training facility at the Johnson Space Center in Houston where he managed the on-site contractor operations for NASA’s ER5 branch. He held various leadership positions at Paragon, Honeybee Robotics, and at the Johnson Space Center, where he contributed to the design, development, and testing of aerospace systems and hardware for lunar, planetary, and asteroid missions. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and sat for his PMP certification from the Project Management Institute in 2011. Some of his subsequent positions include Engineering Consultant, Program Director and CEO of a small aerospace startup company, helping develop optical sensing applications for extreme terrestrial and extraterrestrial environments.  To enrich his personal as well as professional life he worked 3 years in Switzerland as a Project Manager for the design and development of highly dynamic electromechanical actuators for Space and aeronautics applications.
